4 Tasting Notes
Nope. This one’s not for me. I usually ADORE black teas but this one is beyond strong no matter the steep time or the water temperature. I don’t know if it’s the star anise (aka the licorice) taste that’s throwing me off or if it’s too strong for my taste. I really don’t think I’ll be re-purchasing once (or if) I’m done with my 50 grams.
The only plus side to this tea is that it’s a great tea for right before bed. I put this on the star anise which is known for clairvoyance and happy dreams.
Defiantly my fave tea from Teavana! It’s yummy on it’s own. Not too sweet, not too bitter, just right! Very citrus-y and fruity. Since it’s an herbal tea, it can be steeped for a long time wtihout getting bitter or too strong. And it’s a great tea to blend! I’ve been mixing it with David’s Tea Big Apple, Ceylon Star and Kiwi’s Big Adventure (about .5 teaspoons of Wild Orange Blossom per 1.5 teaspoons of DT) and it just adds to the flavor!
I am for sure going to re-purchase this one! :D
Preparation
AMAZING!!! OMG!!! So good! I tried it on a whim and loved it! Tons of apple flavor with just the slightest hint of cinnamon. It smells like apple pie to boot! For sure one to try if you haven’t already!
It’s also good to mix with Teavana’s Wild Orange Blossom. !.5 teaspoons to .5 teaspoons of Wild Orange Blossom.
