10 Tasting Notes
First off, this company has the most adorable packaging! Little sail boats and waves, so cute! As for the tea, I did like it quite a bit, but I think for me it was almost a little too floral tasting. I added a bit of cream to mine and ended up liking it much better that way. It was also pretty fun to watch how much the little green leaves unfurled into my IngenuiTEA, the thing looked like it was half full of leaves when I dispensed it into my cup!
Whoever decided on the blend for this tea really knew what they were doing. I picked this up on a whim today since lately I’ve been favoring rooibos teas and this sounded pretty good…yeah, this tea is awesome! I love it and I hope I can find more after I run out of this tin.
Preparation
There is a lot going on in this tea! I definitely taste the chai, but it’s more of a spicy chai than a cinnamon or sweet chai…also there is a strong taste of something else I can’t quite put my finger on, maybe the ginger? A good tea overall, but maybe too many flavors in one cup.
Preparation
I got this tea as a sample when I ordered from Davids Tea and decided to try it one night before bed since I wanted something hot and it didn’t have any caffeine. It has a pleasant, but not overpowering vanilla flavor and I can still taste the rooibos. I’m not sure if I would buy it, since it was kind of unremarkable, and there are better vanilla teas out there.
Preparation
I’ve seen this called a coffee drinkers tea, and I have to agree. It is chocolately and dark and tastes like coffee…but also tea. It’s a little weird and I admit I was afraid to try it at first, but I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it is.
Preparation
At first I really loved this tea, but as I sipped it more I kept getting a gross artificial sugar aftertaste. It tastes just like apple pie to me which is wonderful, but the aftertaste just kills all the goodness. I definitely won’t be buying this tea again.
