Aha, the first 100 degree day of the year. It begins. Blehhhhh.
So its time to embrace the fruity, floral and otherwise “light” tea blends I own, to help me through this miserable time.
I remembered something about this one too late- namely that a light steep is critical for it. Too long in the water and it gets a bitter edge, as it did this morning.
Alas. But what can I expect from the first day of summer misery?

And thank you for calling that summer misery. I know so many people who just looooove the heat, and think the hotter the better.
Oh I can’t stand it. I was raised in a warm place, but every year I am an unhappy ball of misery. I hate this weather. Bring back the cold!
I always thought it grossly unfair that when it’s 10 degrees, staying inside and canceling activities is perfectly acceptable, but when it’s 100, the weather is not considered inclement enough to scratch plans and stay in :)
100?! I would die.

Summer misery—-ouf! We had a taste of the upcoming humidity last week. I wilted.
Excellent point, gmathis! Apparently heat exhaustion isn’t a big deal.
