Tonight I am trying this much anticipated tea cold brewed. As many of you know I have gone a bit nuts but as I see it, it is just another way to experience tea and potentially experience the same tea in a new light. This was no exception. I found that the black tea base added depth to this cold. Plus, it is extermely creamy. I had assumed the coconut would be strong. Shows what I know. Although, I can taste it, it isn’t anywhere near as strong as I thought it would be. Overall it delicious and most unexpected.

As of late I have been on a cold brewing kick and I feel like a kid in a candy store. It is as if I am tasting all of my teas all over again. It is so much fun primarily because of all the different flavor profiles I am getting from a tea I have had hot. It is just so exciting having the first sip and falling in love with it all over again. Especially this one that I never imagined would be so good cold brewed. I made this blend for winter and it just shocks me how refreshing it actually is. The peppermint candy is most noticeable and it just sparkles. The cinnamon is there holding it together and giving it a bit of mellow feel. The vanilla shows at the end giving you a slightly smooth creamy finish, but just a hint. I will be making this again. I won’t rate it since I made this signature blend but if I did I would give it a 90.

I made this cold brewed today it is surprisingly more vegatal than expected. Which for me is just fine. The peach flavor is explosive and so bright and vibrant. Not a drop of artificial syrup like flavor. I am actually find this a bit bolder than when hot. An interestingly wonderful surprise. Bumped up because of its ability to rock both hot and cold.

Bumping this up for cold brewing awesomeness. What’s interesting the Sencha base was so much more vegatal. The watermelon and raspberry was fresh and sweet. Perfect summer drink.
I have NO idea how that happened. Very, very odd.
