335 Tasting Notes
I’ve had genmaicha in the past and was greatly turned off. They always have a burnt flavor. Well, not this one! Brewed as stated, and it was perfection. Nutty, light, and sexy! Second brew was just as tasty. I will try iced next time, but loved it served hot! I tasted peanuts it in, too! Truly an awesome tea, will have it again!
Preparation
I used to love the Jamaican Roast Tea I used to buy from Yogi Tea. Seems like I have the baddest luck and many places stop making my favorite teas. I wrote Yogi Teas and they recommended this one. The ingredients sounded awesome, cocoa shells? clove? YUM! But as a tea…NO! It is bland, needs a “tea” in it, and it has an awkward flavor even with it being so bland. I had to throw it out. No where near being as awesome as their Jamaican Roast Tea, and not a good recommendation!
I’ve had other chocolate teas that have been much better, I recommend going that way!
Preparation
I love this tea!!! I first had it at a sushi restaurant and saved the wrapper to remember to buy it. I finally found that wrapper and bought a box. It’s lush and very green in appearence. I am in the process of trying the novice pack from Den’s Tea.
But this tea changed what I thought was green tea was. Kind of like listening to the Beatles for the first time in your life.
Preparation
I love this tea. It’s super yummy, perfect when iced! I did exactly what the bag said to brew at, and for once, I wouldn’t change it! This will definitely be in rotation in my tea collection. I was even thinking of making an ice cream with coconut milk with it. No sugar needed! The coconut gives alot, though still not overpowering. The sencha is good quality, too.
