Not as malty as one would expect. Light flavor for a black tea. I believe it may have been understeeped.

I’m pretty sure this is what a trapper in the 1800’s drank. Smells like a miso soup. Tastes like the inside of a cabin with little ventilation. Transported me to an opium den I had no interest in being in .

A little too soapy for my taste.

Like taking a walk on a warm dirty road. Tastes like campfires and toasted graham crackers.

As time went on this tea wasn’t as full bodied as I wanted.
I wonder if this is the same as Harney and Sons’s Eight At The Fort?
Really good cup of black tea.
Delicious iced. Perfect for a day in the park.
