2 Tasting Notes
I bought this at Winco on a whim as we were really short on money and I was out of tea. I was prepared for absolute muck. I was so surprised. Quite a full flavor even though the bags were a little light in tea content. I grew up with my mother drinking Orange pekoe teas, so it’s a very familiar and comforting flavor. I’m fully prepared to buy this again. I have tended to use 2 bags for a very large cup I have, and sometimes even get a second cup from the bags.
My husband likes it to cold steep overnight in a carafe and I flavor with lemon and sugar for him to take to work.
Preparation
I’ve had Jasmine teas in the past that were quite nice, even though Jasmine will never be a favorite of mine, which is odd as I Do enjoy Lotus teas, I think most Jasmine have an odd taste initially that mellows as I sip, so the third and fourth taste is not so bottled perfume like., This Impra Jasmine green though, I almost get a headache it tastes so intense. Hard to describe, but it to me it tastes like a bottle of cheap Jasmine perfume smells. Some Impra flavored teas I find very pleasant, not this one though. I will drink this only if there is not much else around.
