4 Tasting Notes
I had a coupon for this, so I picked it up at the grocery store. It’s actually pretty good. It’s in the vein of Rose Red or PG Tips, but perhaps not quite as bright. Still, it’s a recognizably British flavor and with 80 teabags in the box, I’ll be set for tea at work for some time.
Preparation
This is a store brand tea. I wasn’t expecting greatness, and I didn’t get it. Twinings has a much stronger bergamot flavor (probably because it actually has bergamot in it rather than just a flavor), but it’s definitely a drinkable knock off. I generally like the Taste of Inspirations store brand, so I wanted to give it a try. I’d buy it again in a pinch, but my next office desk box of Earl Grey will be Twinings or better.
Preparation
This is my go-to tea when I need caffeine, like this morning as we’re out of coffee at home. It’s reasonably priced but not cheap quality, and no matter how long I brew it, it doesn’t get a bitter or stringent flavor (which is good, because I drink my tea black). It ain’t coffee, but it’s damn good tea.
