VariaTEA was kind enough to send me some – thank you.
I’m having a hard time with this tea. I know this is a tisane, and I’m not sure why I would expect anything different – but why is a chocolate banana tea the color of apple juice. I can’t wrap my head around that – I’m thinking chocolate banana pie, and looking at white wine. You eat with your eyes first – but do you drink with your eyes?
I think it lacks flavor – it’s a bit chocolaty and vaguely fruity – can’t say I’m getting actual banana. This is really sweet.
I’m going to pass on this one….

NO worries, every tea experience is a learning experience. I learned that I don’t need to buy more of this. Thank you!!
I feel like most teas I try to Teavana have the exact same fake sugary dried pineapple flavor to them. I tried Pumpkin Spice Brule Oolong recently hoping it would be better, but it’s the same. Just too much sugariness and not enough FLAVOR.
Pumpkin spice brûlée was so oily…I get nauseas thinking about it same goes for white chocolate peppermint and spice apple cider and I had such high hopes for them
I’m sorry you didn’t like it. I was definitely thrown off by the color as well.

maybe that’s what it is, like a thick oily coat of artificial sweetness
