7 Tasting Notes
I constantly missed out on this tea from going to the store at definitely the wrong times – took me a few trips to actually get my hands on it! When I finally did, it was well worth the wait. I am not a big fan of super strong and spicy chai teas, and this was the perfect substitute. It is a light chai, with an almost creamy taste, with a hint of pumpkin and spice. Definitely reminded me of thanksgiving. I’m just trying to make my little 50g to last until the next time it hits stores in the fall! Very delicious and a warm pick-me-up.
For some strange reason, I had avoided buying/trying this tea for awhile now. At a recent family gathering, my cousin asked me what kind of tea I would like to have, while very enticingly shaking this can of read my lips under my nose. So she made it for me, and I was blown away. It was delicious for a chilly afternoon, with just the right amount of peppermint without making it seem a peppermint tea, and just the right amount of chocolate without seeming like “hot chocolate”. This is a great tea!
I very much enjoy this tea! I generally go for black tea over others (but my cupboard is bursting forth with all kinds) but if I have a choice, I generally grab my can of cream of earl grey over my many green teas. I bought this tea because the smell instantly won me over – and when I steeped it, I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. It had no significant aftertaste, though I fel that my breath was freshened, and it was sweet without being bitter. Very delicious with milk and sugar, or sugar alone. I will be re-buying this one, thats for sure!
