21 Tasting Notes
Earl Grey is not one of my favorite teas, but this one might change my mind. The bergamont is not overpowering, and is really more of a high note that allows the strong flavor of the black tea to come through. In a lot of Earl Greys, all you can taste is the bergamont.
Preparation
A friend brought this tea to me all the way from Japan, so I have no idea of the company. It is packaged in a bright red patterned tin. The tea is good, but I have probably had it too long. It is good if you are looking for a green tea with a little more depth. It is a very interesting tea. If you are feeling adventurous, you must give this tea a try!
Preparation
The first time I tried this tea, I didn’t care for it. I thought it had too strong a jasmine flavor. But it really grows on you! Since then, it has become one of my favorite green teas. This tea is very cheap at International Groceries!
Preparation
This is a tisane that I cannot drink plain. The lemon flavor is just too overpowering. The ingredients on the website lists “lemon flavoring” along with the lemongrass. I think they should have left out the “flavoring” and just have stuck with the natural flavor of the lemongrass. That said, mix a pinch with your morning breakfast tea, and you add a nice zest to your morning.
Preparation
I never buy bagged tea, but I was at a gas station wanting something hot, so I grabbed a bag of this. It was delicious! This is an excellent green tea, and I will probably be buying some loose and some bagged to take along on trips!
