Bought this out of curiosity and because I was looking for caffeine free herbals. This tea is interesting. It is both sweet and sour and quite good with some sugar. It tastes a bit like apricots and not in the way sheng puerh is described as tasting. It is very tasty and I think I may want to eventually order more of it.

I brewed a fair amount of this in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper, about two tablespoons worth of berries for 3 min in boiling water. The webpage said 5 to 10 berry slices per 250ml so I think I was in the ballpark.

Flavors: Pleasantly Sour, Sweet

Preparation
Boiling 3 min, 15 sec 5 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

Sweet and sour? Sounds interesting. I like a selection of herbal teas too since I usually cut caffeine off early in the day.

A little sweeter than sour but some of both.

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
