This smells absolutely wonderful in the packet, and also brewed up. It genuinely has a biscuit aroma which follows through in the taste. The chocolate is very strong and there’s a really sweet, caramel flavour to it. There’s liquorice in the list of ingredients, but I didn’t pick up on this.

This definitely tastes like a chocolate biscuit. I’m not sure I’d go with shortbread, but it reminds me of eating a Twix chocolate bar!

I made this before I left for work this morning and it was definitely the wrong time to try it. While I enjoyed it very much, and it certainly gave me the strong caffeine boost I required, it was far too sweet and sickly. I’ll make this as an afternoon drink next time.

Flavors: Caramel, Chocolate, Sweet

Boiling 3 min, 0 sec 1 tsp

Hi, my name is Amy and I live in Rotherham, in the UK.

I grew up drinking tea (my mother was addicted – she didn’t leave the house in the morning unless she’d had at least three cups!), though it was strictly your basic, everyday brew we enjoyed; huge boxes of teabags stocked up on every week.

Having dabbled with loose leaf teas in my twenties, I confess to being somewhat underwhelmed. Though, of course, my uneducated tea-brain wasn’t aware of brewing temperatures, steeping times and suchlike back then.

Now in my thirties, I’m rediscovering the delight of tea and enjoying the journey. My taste buds are expanding on a daily basis and I’m grasping more and more about the art of tea. I’m still a tea novice, with much to learn and appreciate, but I’m adoring the ride and looking forward to widening my tea collection.

I also enjoy reading, cross-stitch, knitting, gardening, my allotment plot and television.
