23 Tasting Notes
Not usually a teavana fan, but, this was hot and ready to sample while I walked by the store. I was sold on the blend, so bought a small amount of both to combine at home. It’s tasty, warm, and I think best with a little spoonful of sugar.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Spicy
Preparation
A nice, lighter golden alternative to my usual pu-erh. Teavivre was nice enough to send me a sample of this along with an order, and it’s very much appreciated! Warm, mouth-feel, stomach settling and relaxing. “Golden buds” describes it well. Nice to enjoy on a cold day when you need a hearty tea to warm up with!
Preparation
Very creamy, dark emerald green. Accidentally whisked it too much for my liking the first time, making it slightly bitter. The second time was better, smooth- no bitterness. Tastes like everything I wanted from loose leaf sencha but never quite captured.
Preparation
This tea has grown on me, it’s a taste like no other. Sticks to your ribs, hot, earthy and dirty (but somehow its good!). This tea helps settle my stomach, even after too many Christmas cannoli.
(Thank you Teavivre for the sample included with this order!)
