152 Tasting Notes
Very good basic Assam tea. Bold and strong with no bitterness. It is simple and taste great hot or iced. I would describe this as the basic black coffee of tea. It is a great everyday morning tea to get you going or an afternoon tea when you need a pick me up.
Preparation
I taste an excellent range of flavors from this tea. There is a nice nuttiness at first and then a grassy vegetal flavor with a sweetness that comes on at the end. One of my favorite green teas I have tried, and overall a rich and complex tea.
Preparation
This tea has a rich and earthy taste. I really like the complexity of this tea. It has a little tinge of sweetness contrasted with a smokey flavor. It also has a nice after taste, the flavor seems to linger and slowly dissipate.
Preparation
The fruit taste of plum, cherry, and apricot blend well with this tea. As a hot tea it is a little sweet for my taste. As an iced tea it is one of my favorites, it is sweet and fruity and does not need anything added to it to make it a sweet iced tea. I would give it a score of 70 for hot and 90 for iced.
