From Zen Tea

Delicate, tender green tea leaves from the Fujian province of China infused with the delicate scent of the night-blooming jasmine flowers. (Many call it the perfect marriage.)
Jasmine tea enthusiasts treasure our Jasmine Yin Hao for its delicious, sweet fragrance and sublime, smooth mouth feel.
Jasmine teas vary according to the quality of the tea base, and the skill and flower quality used for scenting. Yin Hao Jasmine has the best of all these elements.

The lovely jasmine doesn’t hide here! Both the fragrance and the flavor are amazing. The flavor is mostly a sweet jasmine with a tiny hint of a vegetal green tea, which only makes the jasmine taste better. The steep cup is a buttery yellow. The second steep still has tons of jasmine, but the green tea is more noticeable. This would be high on my list of best jasmine teas. I could definitely stock this in my cupboard as my go-to jasmine tea!

You’ve got a couple days 4/20/13 to order from zentealife.com’s 20-40% off sale to get some of these amazing teas that they may be discontinuing!

And that is the last for my tasting note spree for today. :D

This is my favorite tea. It has a subtle but full flavor profile. There is enough sweet and bitter to work in concert. It has a refreshing effect and leaves in a contemplative mood for when I need to reflect. I love this tea.

My very first experience with Zen Tea—from an order placed only a couple of days ago!—Jasmine YInhao brews up pale greenish yellow but begins to turn golden as the temperature cools. I think that I may have used overly heated water, so it took a while before it cooled to drinking temperature.

Anyway, so far so good: a nice jasmine scent and flavor. I’ll be trying this tea again soon steeped at a lower temperature to ensure that it is experienced in the best possible conditions.

The jasmine is imparted by essence, not flower petals, but it smells true to nature.
