We are pleased to offer our first ever spring harvest tea cake from “Da Qing Zhai” 大青寨 a small village just north of Bang Dong town (just east of Man Gang and Na Han village). Our tea is grown from mature old arbor trees between 100-200 years of age.
If you are a fan of Bang Dong teas like our Bang Dong Gu Shu, Na Han, and Bang Dong Zi Cha, then you’ll find this tea cake to be very interesting and enjoyable. Strong up front taste, with flower and umami essences, bitterness with a fast returning sweetness and a powerful stimulating cha qi makes this tea a sure bet for long term aging.
A total of 40 kilograms in total was produced. We pressed these tea cakes with a stone-press and used low-temperature drying to preserve the integrity of the tea.
Net Weight: 250 grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong)
Harvest time: April 2019
Harvest Area: Da Qing Zhai, Bang Dong county, Lincang Prefecture
