From Yunnan Sourcing

Nan Jian Tu Lin tea factory has a long history of more than 30 years producing Pu-erh teas. Their productions are often similar to Xiaguan productions in their choice of raw materials, blending and processing techniques. Tulin brand fermented teas are well-known for their balanced flavor and sweet after-taste and complex flavor. A great choice for an everyday drinking ripe pu-erh tea. This production is an OEM production ordered by a large Guangzhou dealer/collector of Pu-erh.

701 Blend is a tippier blend than their 703. The 701 is a little more sweet and creamy, but not lacking complexity!

Certified Organic by OFDC China. (certification not printed on wrapper)

This is a nice teat with a fair amoount of fermentation flavor and very little bitterness. It had a nice semi sweet note from the start that evolved over ten steeps. There were some chocolate notes in there and a somewhat fruity charact6er at the end. I really was not paying attention to the specifics beyond this.

I steeped this ten times in a 160ml Solid Silver Teapot with 14.8g leaf and boiling water. I gave it a 10 second rinse. I steeped it for 5 sec,5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, 30 sec, 45 sec, and 1 minute.

Hello everyone!

I’m back from a months tea hiatus. In that time I was drinking coffee

Coffee!? Oh noes! Well I’m drinking tea and coffee nowadays.

This tea is still lovely. It has mellowed a bit since I last drank it.

I also found out you get a better cleaner tastier brew if you break off flat chunks or intact leaves. I decided not to use but discard broken leaves when gongfuing.

i just store it in grandmas room in its wrapper. not ideal…. i suggest a better method though :) like a pumidor.
