These mini cakes are composed entirely of Jing Mai Mountain fermented material. Medium level of fermentation, this tea when brewed is still full of “cha qi” and will mellowed and more textured with age. Brewed liquor is a beautiful deep wine red. These cakes come in a stack of seven (total of 700 grams).

The leaf material consists of smaller leaves that smell like I mentioned before, black tea. I will give this tea cudos for brewing up a wonderfully clean, clear and reddish beautiful cup. But here’s the thing if I want a cup of black tea I’ll brew some black tea… If I want some shu I won’t brew this tea.
