Dragonwell Long Jing Tea is a perfectly balanced green tea with an exquisite fragrance that has delighted tea connoisseurs for thousands of years.
Like many Chinese teas, Dragonwell is steeped in legend. It is named after a local village called Dragonwell, where it is believed villagers ended a severe drought by praying for rain from a dragon that lived in a nearby spring. Growing in the hills surrounding Hangzhou in China the tea is produced with extreme skill by carefully picking only two leaves and a bud in the mists of early spring. The tea is then hand-pressed against a hot wok to give it its unique shape and flavour. The result is a perfectly-balanced delicate and rich tea with hints of chestnut.
Dragonwell is an exceptional-tasting green tea to be enjoyed brewed lightly and drunk at any time of the day
