Grandpa Style!
I broke off a little chunk of this from my sample and over the course of about three or so days I just topped off a little cup of this to sip on in the mornings while I got ready for work and then again in the evenings when I was putting away all my shit after coming home from work – it was really nice and approachable with this smooth sweetness to it! The best I can describe it is that it was a mix of dark, wet earth and brown sugar/molasses soaked raisins, dates, and figs. That kind of weighty “brown fruit” sweetness. But like, not browned fruit as in spoiled/rotten. Does that make sense!? Hopefully!
I’d be curious to see what this would be like gongfu because it was so thick and full bodied and rich drank this way – I wonder if you’d get as much of those darker fruit notes and molasses qualities packed into each steep!?
