A unique new oolong from Darjeeling’s Rohini Tea Estate, it is produced in the very early parts of the second flush when insect activity is at its peak. The insect damage causes the leaf to oxidise prior to picking, resulting in an added sweetness.
The light oxidisation of the tea gives it a light spicy zesty taste reminiscent of a first flush Darjeeling which combines with the sweetness from the insect damage to give the tea a unique sweet and spicy taste.
