Yummy! Great vanilla flavor- definitely not fake! The chamomile was OK. It seemed a little stake to me. Overall, a nice herbal blend for the evening.

Let me start by saying I’m not a huge chamomile fan so it has to be pretty exceptional for me to like it.

The vanilla bean surely helped tone down that Chamomile taste I tend to question so that’s a plus. There was something hinting at a slight apple-likeness, too, perhaps it was the stevia.

This was ok.

It was fairly mellow but I don’t think I wanted it any more intense – to be honest with you!
I could pick up on the licorice and stevia notes towards the end of the sip. I probably would have omitted one or both of those ingredients, tho.

It’s alright tho.

First time I tried this tea was pretty fun. The overall experience, that is. I spent pretty much the last half of Legion (terrible, but almost funny in a terrible way, zombie apocalypse movie) smelling the dry tea. Every time I opened up the bag it smelled like something different – vanilla one time, old lady potpourri another time, cookies another time, the tea incarnation of diabetus the next time. It was fun. Real pretty tea too. Taste… not so fun. I was expecting it to be sweet vanilla-y goodness, or sweet something, since it smelled so sweet out of the bag (most of the time). It was sweet, but the licorice went zombie apocalypse on the flavor on the back of the tongue and on the way down. On the tip of the sip it’s chamomile, vanilla, lemongrass and honeybush – a decent enough combo. Right before the swallow though, the licorice swoops in and claims my taste buds in the name of The Land of Eww. I’m not the biggest fan of licorice but I enjoy it when it complements other flavors in a blend. Here it just destroys the other flavors in a death match. I think I’d like it better without the licorice.

After some experimentation I’ve found it’s decent with some almond milk.

Finally, I bought this tea because I’m always looking for a great sleep aid tea. To me, chamomile teas are usually sleep aid teas. I didn’t feel any relaxing or calming effects from the tea though, so it’s a little disappointing in that respect. However, it seems like an alright digestive aid tea between the chamomile, lemongrass, and of course, the licorice.

The steeped scent is very much a mix of chamomile and vanilla. It’s not cloying; it’s well balanced in smell. Smells darn good, actually.

The flavor is very vanilla with chamomile as the backbone of the tisane. It’s not a sweet vanilla, it’s unsweet vanilla. Just the natural flavor itself.

I’m finding I’m truly not one for herbal or fruity teas, flavored teas or tisanes… but this is another I’d give a thumbs-up on for those that are into them.

I need a few more cups to make a real opinion for myself, as seems to be the case with these fruities and herbies… but so far I like it but wouldn’t buy it (I got it as part of a sample pack).

It would probably be good for a before-bed drink, with the restful qualities of chamomile and the pleasant vanilla mixed in. If nothing else, get a sample of it; it’s worthwhile.

I just received a sample of this in the mail the other day and had to try it out immediately because the combination of ingredients intrigued me. This was exactly what I needed for a 7 hour car trip with my toddler.

I like that this isn’t your typical end of the day herbal tea, the licorice is a really nice twist. I was surprised just how sweet this was on its own although after checking out the ingredient list I saw that it contained stevia. That in combination with the vanilla bean and coconut provides more than enough sweetness. The chamomile, licorice, and vanilla bean stood out the most and I thought they worked surprisingly well together.

I did notice a somewhat creamy taste, possibly from the coconut, in addition to a subtle apple flavor. I do think the strong taste from the licorice covered the taste of many of the other ingredients, I really had trouble picking out the lemongrass, but that wasn’t really a problem for me since I like blends with licorice. Overall this was a really nice blend, but I would definitely skip it if you don’t like licorice.
