Eventho the ‘looks’ of this one prior to infusion reminds me of Rabbit Food – it intrigues me.
It has a rich and dark color once infused. It doesn’t have a distinct aroma but it’s still warm and relaxing for a bolder, darker black tea base.
It’s fairly strong on the tongue. Full body, rich, pretty hearty.
It’s semi-crusty. Yup! A good one to have on hand if you are looking for a straight-Assam.
I was fairly shocked to see only one other Belseri Estate (named) tea here on Steepster in the database – so – heads up to tea companies – a GOODIE to look into and/or include in the title!
It has a neat earthy after taste to it. I think that might be the characteristic I will remember this tea by long after finishing the cuppa.
