Another tea from the GCTTB

This is a nice plum tea with just a hint of spices. I would prefer if it were a little tart, this is a little sweet for me. I like the plum, and the spice – all it’s missing is a little hibiscus…

I have not had this one in forever. I decided to try this one as an iced tea. I brewed 4 bags in about 2 cups water for 2 minutes. Then I diluted with 1L cold water and chilled in fridge overnight.

I do not remember this one being so so so super sweet. I did not add any sweetener. It is bordering on prune juice. It is sweet and thick. There is just the slightest hint of spices but I couldn’t tell you what spices. It reminds me of plum cake or plum pie.

I think I am going to have to dilute this one a bit more as is it too sweet for me right now. I am going to have to try this one hot again to see if it is just as sweet when hot, or if maybe I brewed it up too strong for the iced tea.

Great Canadian TTB and sipdown!! (158)

I pulled one of these teabags out of the box to try later and after my first sip, I wish I hadn’t. When you are going to make the bold move of calling a tea “Delicious”, you really should ensure you have a product that can back-up that claim. This certainly is far from what I would call “delicious” – it is cloyingly sweet at first and then ends with a pinch of cinnamon that really just makes things worse. I am sorry but this got dumped as I could not get through the cup. Thank you Lala for the chance to try something new but this really is not for me.
