From Twinings

China tea with the sweet & subtle scent of rose.

What does it taste like?
Floral with a subtle sweetness. The light China tea is perfect with the delicate rose.

What’s the Inspiration?
This is a blend inspired by heritage and tradition. Tea was discovered in China over 2000 years ago and roses too have been growing there for centuries, even millennia! Two things so intrinsically linked to the history of China were destined to work beautifully together. They spotted it, and so have we – we just had to create our own.

This is a tea that deserves a cup and saucer. As you pour into the pretty China cup breathe in the scent of delicate rose and imagine walking through a bright, colourful garden in South West China. Charming, tranquil and a little bit posh.

Ingredients
Black Tea, Rose Petals (10%), Rose Flavouring (3%).

I really like this tea for its potent (but malty) black base. The rose is very present, floral, and quite delicious. This brews up really fast. 1.5 minutes was actually a bit too much for me, so I added soy milk. It was already lightly sweet with a very thick mouthfeel, so the creaminess of the milk was perfect.
