From Traditional Medicinals

The herbs in this tea — fennel, anise, coriander, fenugreek and blessed thistle — are galactagogues, which comes from the Greek word “galactos,” meaning “milk” and “agogue,” which means “bringer of.” Women have been successfully using these herbs for centuries to help them breastfeed.* Some of our favorite organic fennel comes from small farms in Bulgaria — one of fennel’s native stomping grounds — where it is harvested in the late summer to early fall.

Personality
Supportive, empowering and believes in you.

Herbal Power
Traditional European herbs used to help nursing mothers with breast milk production.*

Reason to Love
While your bundle of joy is probably causing you no end of delight, moms can also feel overwhelmed and tired, especially when it comes to breastfeeding. We love the fact that the herbs in this formula have been traditionally used to help mothers support their production of breast milk and to promote healthy lactation.* With fennel and anise (which give the tea a sweet, licorice-like taste), and coriander and fenugreek, each sip is like stepping into a tradition that has been passed down from woman to woman for hundreds of years.

Taste
Sweet, slightly bitter with a distinct licorice-like taste.

I received a sample tea bag a long time ago and finally decided to try it. I am not breastfeeding and will not drink it again. I do not like coriander or fennel in my tea. They are both too strong in this one. I won’t even finished this mug, which may be a first time.

Flavors: Coriander, Fennel Seed

The hospital sent me home with a couple bags of this, so I decided to give it a try. It tastes mostly of black licorice (from the anise), and I quite like it. Which is interesting since I don’t like any of the teas I’ve tried that have been flavored with actual licorice.

Flavors: Anise

Airplane Tea
Not gonna lie; if I wasn’t nursing I wouldn’t be drinking this. Probably would have never looked at it either. It’s a weird mix of things but I think it helps. The spearmint seems to stand out the most w/ a hint of lemon verbena.
