From The Tea Table

East Fresian won “Best in Class” at the World Tea Championship in the breakfast tea category! Famous strong, full-bodied blend of tippy Assams, Sumatra, and Java teas. Great alternative to English Breakfast. Great with milk and sugar. Use one teaspoon per cup and steep in freshly boiled water for 3-5 minutes.

This is a very nice robust, brisk, and malty tea. You can smell the assam tea in it and it really has a kick to it. I’m really glad I only steeped for 3 minutes. I have a feeling that you could stand a spoon up in it at 5 minutes. I’m getting no bitterness and a touch of astringency. This would make a very good breakfast tea and I like it a lot.

Dan

I now have a very nice tea scale, I got the smallest one and now I have no excuse for not measuring my tea.

New blend by Tea Table. For some reason this tea stays smother with long steeps. Very full bodied. I think it is not a multifaceted taste, but it is ideal for a filling fortifying tea with cream and sugar on cold icy or wet days. Ideal for grey miserable weather. Bracing. Excellent with snacks.
