From The Republic of Tea

This China green tea is luscious with the naturally sweet flavor of ripe pears and tropical tang of kiwi. A highly aromatic, healthy blend that’s refreshing on ice.

So a new Whole Foods just opened up and I decided to stop by on the way home and pick up a couple teas and THIS WAS ONE OF THEM. HOLY CRAP when you open the can it smells strongly of JOLLY RANCHERS. It was not what I was expecting at all and was KINDA a turn off. But the little circle bags are neato!

It’s slowly growing on me as I drink it I think. IT’S PRETTY LIGHT. And… pear-y! Not bad; I think I might like my White Pear more though. I’LL DRINK ALL THIS ANYWAY CUZ IT WAS KINDA EXPENSIVE HAHA. /sob

a little too fruity for my liking. I think it overwhelms the soft flavor of the green tea. Not a favorite for sure.

Drinking this one non-stop recently! As soon as I opened the tin, the strong smell hit me, and in the best way possible. This tea is so delightfully light and sweet that you really don’t need sugar. I can only really taste the pear and green tea, but I’ll be keeping a tongue out for that dang kiwi they promised. Steeping times may vary, but I usually let it sit for a while just so it strengthens the flavor. Though I have been drinking it hot, I can imagine this would be absolutely delicious iced as well, particularly on a hot summer day.

I love pear [like not in a weird way love it, but love it quite a bit]. I have yet to have a pear-flavored tea, though. I might need to check this out.

I also love this tea brewed hot and then chilled. One of the few iced teas that I like without sweetening it! I consider this tea one of my top ten of all time.

Cozy smell, nice taste. This is another tea that my girlfriend loves but I’m not nuts about. But, it’s some high-quality green tea to say the least! I’d recommend it if you want a stable staple tea.
