Random Teabag Sipdown! Thanks to QueenOfTarts for sending this to me with the tea I purchased.

I’m really having trouble telling exactly what fruits make up the tropical flavor. This tea just strikes me as mildly sweet, vaguely tropical, on top of a green base and isn’t the type of tea that would normally appeal to me. For a sweet tea, this wasn’t very sweet, and it had a bit of a bitter aftertaste from the stevia.

It’s okay. It was surprisingly sweet. The fruit profile was a welcome change to the hibiscus/rose hip type or apple/orange/lemon tea you often get with fruity teas. It’s not a go-to green tea, but I would drink it again.

Catalogue sample of unknown age. Tastes like it could be half decent if not for the artificial sweetener. I HATE stevia. That’s where the sweet comes from in the title. It sort of overshadows the vague green tea and vaguely tropical flavour. NOT recommended.

Yuck. Why can’t they let people sweeten the tea themselves? Stevia is nasty. It’s a sugar alcohol that passes through your system, which is why it has “zero” calories. Things like that kinda give me the heebie jeebies. All-natural or bust, especially in my tea! D:

Very disappointing tea! I found out that the Republic of Tea makes Panera’s green tea which I love… So, I called them and asked if they sold it, they said no it was exclusive to Panera. The person then went on to tell me that this abomination was the closest to the Panera green tea… This tea taste NOTHING like tropical anything. It also says it is naturally sweetened. I find that to be laughable as well.

Not a fan… fake fruit flavor and fake sweet flavor.

Another nice tea from the catalog sample. The sweetness goes well with the green tea, but it still gives me an artificial sweetener feel. It’s not bad, and definitely much better than sugar water aka sweet tea, but I probably wouldn’t buy it for myself.
