Umm nope. I got this in a gift exchange and thought why not try it, especially because the Pina Colada was actually not half bad. I got excited, thought oh, locally available, easily sourced bagged tea I might enjoy. Hah!! This was bad, not even a little good. Lots of zest, lots of bitter, and a teasing hint of mint. I might try the Cosmo and the Bellinni, because the Pina Colada was actually good, but I don’t have high hopes. This is not a tea I will be wasting any more time on.

I got distracted by a pomegranate and left this steeping for fifteen minutes or so? Haaaa. Still good, still good! ;)

I love mint tea and I love lime tea, and of course I love mojitos, but the balance of flavours in this tea just doesn’t work for me. The lime overpowers the mint. I’ve tried it iced and didn’t enjoy it any more that way, unfortunately

I like to think I’m not a tea “snob” in that, I really don’t mind trying teas from more generic companies. In other words, I’m sincerely attracted to flavors more so than brands… and for the sake of this tea, boy am I glad! I discovered it over the summer, and it made the perfect summer-flavored tea! And moving into November, it’s still one of my go-to favorites. I can’t help but adore the balance of mint with lime, but I will admit I might be biased by how much I love mint, and I would say that the mint flavor is a shy bit stronger than lime in this tea.

I also happen to appreciate that this tea comes in one of the little tins, in bags. If I’m on my way out of the house with an empty mug (god forbid!) and I don’t have time to fuss with loose leaf, this is what I toss into my bag.

A bit too minty, but overall a good flavour. It does not resteep very well, though. Makes a nice iced tea.

Again, another staple in our home not necessarily because I really like it, but because my dad loves it.

For me personally this one is a winning combination. I don’t really care if the “lime” overpowers the mint (which I find it doesn’t in most cups…it’s like the odd teabag has more limey flavouring than the rest) since I like both lime and mint. The lime tastes more like lime cordial to me as opposed to lime juice or lime zest. Not that I’m complaining; I like lime cordial, too. It’s just not…real lime.

I really like mint tea, so it should come as no surprise that I like this. Granted, I also really like mojitos (with enough rum, of course) and this tastes nothing like a mojito. But as a “lime mint tea”? Yum. And herbal, too. So good to have in the evenings.

Verdict: despite this being my dad’s favourite and will get constantly restocked, I would buy this again for myself.

I love the lively and slightly sweet combination of lime, mint, and honey; which are, admittedly, three of my favourite flavours for anything. I will confess that it took me +6 months to actually try the tea after I discovered its existence because I was skeptical. However, I am really happy with the resulting tea and I’m so glad I gave it a go! Note: I have only tried it hot.

I was intrigued by this tea because of the unusual flavour – as with most of the teas from this herbal line, but I did not enjoy this one.

The taste was just…Blegh. Definitely not my kind of tea.

Cold brewed this recently and found that the mint gets stronger and the lime recedes some. Very enjoyable.
