Sipdown! Thanks to Sil for letting me thief a sample of this before I pass it along to her next weekend!
The aroma is basically of a fruity chai. Definitely fruity, but hard to place the fruit. However, mango is much more identifiable on the sip. It’s also a touch floral, probably from the fruit flavouring. I probably could have infused this one a bit longer if I was adding milk, etc. but I wanted to be able to drink it without, and I’ve succeeded in that (even though there’s an odd burn going down, I’m pretty sure that that’s something going on with me and a lack of food, not the tea itself). The dominant spice in here is probably cardamom, but none of them are terribly overwhelming, which is nice.
Overall, a pretty tasty example of a fruity chai! I think I still prefer my coconut chai and mayan chocolate chai (smoky chai) over fruity chais though, as I love creaminess and smokiness.
Thanks again Sil!
ETA: Did not care for the re-steep of this one. Something in the spicing didn’t taste right when I had it earlier; like it was too heavy on a flavour I didn’t enjoy (not cardamom, bc that’s one spice I really do enjoy in chais).
