Interesting how I rated this so highly when I rarely reach for it, and have actually avoided it on a few occasions. I find it tastes too much like rooibos to me, or at least that’s my memory of it, so I avoid it. I do like it – it’s very good at mimicking what I remember as apple stolen. I just… am learning that I like apple teas less and less, and this is okay, however far from amazing.

The name sounds so much more promising :(

How does this compare to Bluebird Tea’s apple strudel?

MissB

I wasn’t a fan of either one; I think I gave you the last of the Bluebird.

Suziqzer

Yes you did …. It was one of the ones in your stash sale I wanted to try & I enjoy it, right now anyway. Using it sparingly.. :)

Advent day 10. This has a really nice bright apple flavor. It has the same bright flavor once steeped. The rooibos flavor isn’t dominating, but it’s there. It’s not bad for a rooibos, but it’s not my favorite.

I’m not a fan of apple teas, I’m afraid, but this one is actually rather tolerable. There’s a rough, woodsy rooibos base that curls under an (admittedly flat) apple layer with hints of cinnamon and spice behind.

I want to like this tea, honestly, but the longer I try to drink it the more I can’t bring myself to enjoy it. It might be good for others, but this definitely isn’t the tea for me.

I tried this tea hot the first time and it was nice. It has a bold spicy flavor. I chilled the next cup I tried and I liked it even better. I did add German rock sugar to it. I only have a sample of this, so I can probably get a couple more cups out of it. I will make a decision then, if I will restock this tea.

Another sample from MissB. Thankfully they did not add hibiscus to this which so many companies would do. It’s got a nice apple dessert flavour. I don’t eat a lot of desserts so I cannot say which apple dessert but it certainly does taste like that. It’s a good tea but doesn’t make me want to buy it.
