From Teabox

This deluxe first flush China clone blend provides classic Darjeeling character in a confident package. It makes a sweet, malty cup of medium astringency with plenty of personality and strength. This is a nice “good morning” tea or an assertive afternoon pick-me-up. Tea lovers can enjoy their cuppa with milk/sugar/honey. This can be steeped twice as well.

The leaf is really green and silver – if I didn’t know better I would have guessed this was a green or white tea, not a black. Smells faintly of wet earth and flowers.

Flavour is a touch of malt with spices and herbs, and a vegetal tang. Quite nice.
