This is a first flush 2019 tea from Gua Feng Zhai. Same Mao Cha (loose tea) that we pressed last year, but this has been stored in Kunming for a full year prior to pressing. It is therefore displaying some more ageing signs. We decided to press it because we believe that this tea has great ageing potential; also because we found the 2019 version more impressive than 2020’s. It is a sweet tea with great aftertaste from one of the most sought over regions in the Yiwu area.
This is a Spring 2019 pressed in 2020, growing in the Gua Feng Zhai forest from trees aged around 20 years.
