2020 Advent Swap – Day 19

I love Ceylon teas! I got this on vacation from an Asian grocery store, it wasn’t labeled in English. I bought it from the picture, haha!

This is one of my favorites from the advent calendar so far. Before steeping, it doesn’t smell like much. After, it’s a perfectly flavored orange black tea. The base isn’t too bold, but it’s strong enough to stand side by side with the orange flavor without either overtaking the other. This is one I would gladly drink again if I can find it. Might have to place an online order for a box to keep on hand. Thanks, Devon Bartholomew!

An Asian grocery store while it is actually from Chile? What’s wrong with geography i US.

Anyway, I like the tea bag of this tea in my collection as well. I exchanged few Chilean tea bags for something… stamps maybe? Good to know it is tasty tea.

How i got it: Got it from my cousin (part of the “Assorted” Pack of Te Supremo)

Experience: Well, let’s go back to this pack after that last break with Tea Connection. In short, i could say this tea is just the equivalent of its partner, Tea with Lemon Flavor, only this time having an orange-like flavoring instead of a lemon-like one. The experience is very similar: smooth aroma with orange candy notes and some presence of the tea; taste dominated by these notes with the tea more in the background. If only the orange flavor were more natural, i think i’d enjoy it more. Not that bad, but not that good either.

Would i buy it?: If i have to decide between this one and the lemon version, i would stay with the later. The answer would be ‘no’ this time.
