This tea has an intense honey aroma and taste, very pleasant and enjoyable. The taste is a mixture of black tea and oriental beauty oolong. This tea is very rich, complex, smooth and delectable with almost no bitterness and astringency. The aftertaste is very sweet and long lasting and makes you want another sip.
Taiwan Honey Black Tea Oolong is produced following the method of making black tea oolong tea and using the raw tea leaves for oriental beauty. The oxidation of this tea is between black tea and oriental beauty oolong to preserve the flavor of black tea and the taste of oriental beauty oolong.

The competition brewing style uses three grams of oolong tea leaves (the size of our free sampler) in 120 ml of boiling water for 5 minutes. Taiwan Honey Black Tea Oolong is produced from tea leaves bitten by leafhoppers. The biting process is known as salivating when the insects insert a small amount of saliva into the leaves. Although the affected leaves curl downwards, the saliva is transformed into pleasant honey flavor when roasting. To attract leafhoppers, the tea plantations require to be pesticide free. You can be sure that the tea is all natural!
