From Streetshop88

This kind tea has a strange shape with one side in black and one side in white, as if the moonlight shines on its shoots, so it gains a beautiful name “Moonlight White”. This tea selects the spring tea leaves and shoots of Yunnan large leave old tea plants, put them in soil-based houses, and let them ferment naturally under the moonlight at night. During the fermentation process, they cannot be irradiated by sunlight.

Moonlight White not only contains rich vitamins and alkaloids, but also has abundant amount of tea polyphenol. Besides, its tea soup has more water extracts than others. The AHAS in Moonlight White helps to remove dead skin so that new cells can reach skin more quickly. That’s to say, it helps to firm the skin, decrease the furrow, and whiten the skin. Pu’er Tea Moonlight White is absolutely the best choice of ladies!

The soup color of Moonlight White appears yellow first, and then turns red, and at last gets yellow again, cool to the bone. Once it is infused, it suffuses an exquisite fragrance all around. Take a sip, and sweetness lingers long in throats. The Moonlight White has the faint fragrance of Oolong Tea, and the mellowness of Pu’er Tea. It is the superior grade of tea that is worth tasting and collecting.

First note for this tea, and it’s a sipdown!

I think I got this as a swap from Ubacat. This is a very nice moonlight tea, with fruity and floral notes, and it resteeps extremely well, even with my bullshit bastard gong-fu style that I use when I’m at work.

I got about 2 big helpings from the sample that Uba sent. The leaves are large and fragrant, with an earthy sweet smell. Glad I got a chance to try this.

Ubacat

Glad you liked it. I tried a few moonlight teas and this one remained my favourite. It’s also one of those teas you just can’t screw up the brewing. It’s always good!
