From Steep City Teas

Moroccan Mint is a tea enjoyed by new and experienced tea drinkers alike. It’s a tea that is equally delicious as it is soothing. The mint flavor is one that has come to be loved for hundreds of years. We decided to add some cranberries, blue berries, orange peels, and lemon peels to add a slight berry undertone and aftertaste. A tea that is good for every day, hot or iced. Stay minty our friends.

Back from my Hawaiian cruise!
The only things I missed from home was my bunny and my tea stash, though seeing my tea stash today was overwhelming, man I have a lot of tea. Oh and I missed my variable temp kettle.
So, mint tea on the ship sucked – the one they had had hibiscus in it for some random reason giving the tea a gross grey colour. Time for some better mint tea! Love the berry, smokey gunpowder green and fresh peppermint flavor. I shoulda brought this tea with me, I didn’t bring many greens.

oh man, I gained so much weight on this cruise and it will be difficult not eating 4 meals of day, 3 of them with a dessert. Back to unpacking and chipping away at emails.

I hope you got a ton of sun!

Oh yes, I’m tanned. And sick of macadamia nuts yet I want to go back to Hawaii.

Mint, orange, berry… a combination made in heaven. I had so much success with the teas I ordered from Steep City my first time around that it was only about 2 weeks before I placed another order! And this, of course, was a blend I couldn’t pass up. I love Moroccan Mint but oddly enough I’ve never had any variations of it—just green tea and mint. But add in berry and citrus? Sounds like heaven!

The mint here is mild, but it still pops at the end of the sip. The berry is sweet and juicy, and there’s a bit of tartness from the citrus. And then, there’s a creamy aspect! Almost like vanilla? I don’t think there is any in here, but it really does taste like it. And last but not least, a hint of grassy smoke from the gunpowder!

This is absolute perfection iced—in fact I almost like it as much as their Citrus Sunshine Oolong (my current favorite iced tea!). Another winner from Steep City!

Oolong Owl

I’m not a big moroccan mint fan, but this sounds good! I did 2 SteepCity orders too and already planning a 3rd!

Alphakitty

I think even if you’re not a big mint fan this is worth trying, though I think the Citrus Sunshine Oolong is similar if you want something in that berry/citrus flavor profile.

Update: Okay, the more I drink this tea the more I like it. I think it’s earned a spot in my permanent tea collection.

That said, I REALLY want to cold brew this, but each time I try results are lackluster. (That goes for this AND every other tea I’ve tried cold brewing.) I can make a killer sun tea but the cold brewing method is eluding me. Grr. #firstworldproblems
