Hmm, this tea tastes quite a bit like coconut oolong, but without the oolongy flavour. That is to say, it’s very much a kind of toasty coconut, which is really quite good! I wish I could taste the green tea a bit more, so next time I’ll lengthen the infusion a bit – I kept it to 2 minutes to prevent any possible astringency, which I did succeed at. This is definitely one of the better coconut greens I’ve tasted though… highly recommend if that’s something you’re looking for.
I feel like this would be a great blending tea for use when coconut flavour is desired (but when oolong is not)… so perhaps that’s what I’ll use it for! Or maybe I’ll ice it. Hmm, the possibilities…
Is this the Amoda blend? I wasn’t sure how to add it as the package said “Amoda” for blender.
Yeah, I saw that too, but then in the little letter it said Spire Tea… so that’s what I put! :P
