Oddly I keep finding myself forgetting that I have this sample- proof, I suppose, that I rarely reach for fruity teas. I also don’t like the taste hot as much as I do cold; the tropical cocktail taste just really goes with a cup of iced tea. Do give this one a shot for summer iced teas though!

Does green rooibos taste much different than red rooibos? I’ve never had green rooibos to compare. Just curious.

I second Meghann M’s question. I enjoy Red rooibos, and sometimes I have mixed red and green, but never uniquely green.

It’s hard to tell because this blend is so flavored, but I don’t taste anything I’d identify as typically rooibos flavored in this, so I’m guessing it’s more mild!

May have to try some if that is the case. If so, YUM!

I actually finished this last night but I was too tired to write a tasting note. I had the last of this tea iced and it was quite good, fresh and crisp, though it could stand to be a bit sweeter – maybe I’ll stir in some agave nectar if I have this tea again.

I want to thank Bethany yet again for another tea/tisane introduction! Based on her ‘muted’ comment on this one I decided to steep for 6 minutes…it said 5 on the package. It’s very much papaya to the nose but to taste it’s papaya PLUS a sweet-sugar taste with very very slight floral undertones. Again, it’s sweet…and I think I like it! The sweetness works well with this! Maybe the longer you steep the sweeter it is!? Perhaps…

From yesterday. I’m not sure how I feel about this one. It tastes a LOT like my beloved Mighty Leaf Tropical Green, but the flavors are more muted. I was expecting it to be a lot more flavorful.
