Wild Pu-erh is an extremely rare find within the ancient forest of Yunnan. Local farmers trek into the deepest part of the forest each spring to collect tea leaves from wild trees that can grow up to 20 feet tall. This sustainable practice of picking once a year gives the tree sufficient time to replenish mineral contents, resulting in healthy tea leaves that produce a strong aftertaste. Created as raw pu-erh, our Wild Pu-erh has been pan-fried, hand-rolled, and dried naturally under the sun. This precious cup is treasured for its complexity with hints of plum wine and cherry blossom. Mellow and mildly earthy, this Wild Pu-erh takes you on an adventure through the ancient forest.
