One of the best Russian blends containing Ceylon, Chinese and Indian teas with the mild notes of smoke and spice enriched by beautiful pearls of Pouchong tea.
It is our variety of Russian Caravan tea which is very similar in taste to Lapsang Souchong. Originally its distinctive smoky flavour has been achieved thanks to long journeys to Russia and being kept near camp fires but today the flavour is given by the fermentation and addition of various black teas, Oolong or Souchong.
It makes red/dark red cup with very smooth smoky flavour and delicate, slightly flowery aftertaste of Pouchong.
For traditional preparation in samovar: use 8 heaping teaspoons per 500ml filtered, boiling water. Allow to brew for 4 minutes. Pour through filter into the samovar pot.
Drinking tip: It can be served with some sugar or slice of lemon.
