Thank you for this (Amanda) – I THINK it was Amanda! Sorry…I have most of my swaps labeled but I was going to drink this yesterday and took it out of the marked box! LOL :)

This is pretty good! I prefer this one over the one I tried yesterday but probably for the wrong reasons. This isn’t AS Coffee-Intense. It’s still coffee-esque but there is more to it! It’s actually a bit creamy, too! There is a nice, natural sweetness to it for a brief moment and then the semi-roasted bean takes over and it smooths out again at the end on to the after taste. Tasty!

Backlog:

I’m not big on coffee. I used to be, I used to drink it daily. But, I discovered after a while that the reason I was feeling sick every morning about 11 am on the mornings when I would be at work after drinking that cup of joe … is because of that cup of joe. So, I switched to making tea my only caffeinated beverage and I’m much happier (and less sickly) because of it.

Plus … tea does taste better.

So, I am generally hesitant when I encounter a coffee flavored tea.

I liked the flavor of this, though (I mean, hey, I liked the flavor of a cup of coffee, I just didn’t like feeling sick.) This has that coffee bitterness to it (not my favorite aspect to coffee, I’ll admit), but also the richness and deep, robust flavor of coffee. I can taste the roasty notes.

The chocolate notes of this coffee flavored tea is it’s saving grace for me. I love me some chocolate.

Not a bad tea, but not something I’d order for myself. I’m glad I tried it, but, don’t need to try it again.

I don’t know why but I’m drawn to coffee teas, which is odd, since I’m not really a coffee drinker. Maybe it’s because my husband’s coffee always smells so good and coffee can have a creaminess that’s often missing from tea. I had a Groupon to Serene Teaz and after a few I had planned on getting didn’t smell as good as I thought they would I decided to add this to my purchase.

I’m not terribly impressed. I’m sure it’s a fine tea, but it’s just not for me, much in the same way that I wasn’t impressed with Teavana’s Javamate. I want to like them but they’re just okay to me and end up sitting in my tea cabinet until I admit defeat and put them up for swaps, I begrudgingly drink them, or the mood hits me just right for them. I think I need to admit it: I’m no longer a coffee drinker.

I went to SereneTeaz yesterday for Small Business Saturday. I got some of this based on the scent. Love coffee, love creaminess, love chocolate , what could go wrong. Nothing! This is wonderful! I added a bit of stevia. Flavors meld well and give all the good things about a nice latte without the calories. Obviously its not going to be as creamy as a real latte, but it comes close.
It is a lot like JavaMate by Teavana without the mate. I tend to go overboard on mates (I REALLY LOVE THEM) so cutting back the caffeine a bit is good for me. It’s also cheaper than the Teavana version.
