I guess Baozhang or Pouchang as it’s also called is a cross between green and oolong, lighter than most green oolongs. I had tasted some years ago and not cared for it, but this one has really openned my eyes to Baozhang tea. It has all the sweetness and floral aspect of the finest Taiwanese Oolongs but just a tad “lighter” and more etheral. The unbrewed leaves are uncurled and a beautiful shade of jade. I really love this tea. A perfect harbinger of Spring.
