I’ve never been a Chamomile fan, until now. We just got this incredible Chamomile a little while ago and it dispelled any negative notions I have about Chamomile.
The usual Chamomile I’ve tried, including loose is either too sharp, or too stale. I’ve never experience the “honey, baked apple” like flavor that I’ve read about.
That is until I did some research and found that there are several kinds of Chamomile in the world, and the most premium kind is one from Egypt.
It’s got a gentle honey sweetness and bleeds of baked apple-more of a Red Delicious than say like a Fuji Apple (more tarty than sweet).
But anyways, I’m glad that I’ve had this, it was incredibly soothing, slightly sweet, with nice body, and I can’t wait to try it with other herbal ingredients.
