TTB sample! I definitely taste the hazelnut, though there isn’t much more going on than that. The black tea beneath could be tastier. I just wish it were a bit more nuanced. My partner really liked this one though and called it creamy (ha maybe he means the soy milk).

Only black tea I tried from the Strange VariaTea TTB. Even though black tea is always risky for me, I was seduced by the Nutella-style chocolate hazelnut flavor. The dry leaf smells great – malty, chocolatey, hazelnutty. Brewed up, it felt like the flavor needed a bit of a boost so I decided to latte it. It ended up being more hazelnut than chocolate, with a nice malty base. I can see this being an enjoyable dessert tea!

Strange VariaTEA TTB #24

My husband picked this one to go with breakfast this morning based on the aroma alone. I think he enjoyed it more than I did, but it was a nice chocolate hazelnut blend on a good robust black tea base! Would probably make it as a latte if I drank it again.

Strange VariaTEA TTB: Tea 31

Had this one as an eggnog latte today and while it was nice, it wasn’t standout enough for me to want to pull it from the box and keep. It was fun to try though.
