Fall in love with our raspberry lemon tea, a refreshing and revitalizing cup of tea. It’s a very bright, delicate balance of green mate (much more grassy and pleasing to the palate than traditionally aged mate) with lemongrass, lemon peel, hibiscus, and raspberries. Mate packs plenty of calm caffeination, so the light nature of the flavor profile in this tea reminds us that sometimes it’s a gentle nudge we need to push us in the right direction. This is one of those blends that is quite enjoyable both in the mornings or as an afternoon pick-me-up; you can also do a strong cold-brew steep for an excellent iced tea.
INGREDIENTS:
Green Mate, Lemongrass, Lemon Peel, Rose Hips, Hibiscus, Apple Pieces, Raspberry Essence.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Preparation Instructions: Steep 1 tsp in 8 oz boiling water for 3-6 min.
SUGGESTED USES:
Fantastic tea party beverage for pairing with scones and sandwiches. Great iced too.

I would consider buying more to play with another time. It does seem like a blend that can be left to steep a while, which is often a plus for me.

Geek Steep S1E20 – Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers
This is the tea I picked to drink during recording. I sort of spaced and forgot that this would be the last tea I would pick for the season, and so I just chose something totally random from my stash that I was in the mood for the morning of recording. In hindsight, I wish I would have picked something either connected to this fandom, more impactful/emotional for the end of season or from a fandom themed company, at the very least…
Thankfully Marika chose something emotional/significant enough to make up for my oversight. It was, like, the most personal I’ve ever seen her get with a tea choice!
Anyway – we’re in the planning stages right now for season two! We’ll be taking a short break from episodes to explore new fandoms and get some episodes recorded/batched, but we need to know where to start fandom-wise. Of course we have ideas, but we’d love suggestions of fandoms that y’all would like to see covered. So if anyone has suggestions, please let me know!

Did you ever have Teavana’s Raspberry Riot Lemon Mate? I’m wondering if it’s similar to that one.

Not for me, but my husband loves it. I try to keep an eye out for substitutes for our favorite old Teavana blends.
