From PA Dutch Tea & Spice Company

When brewed, the small, tightly balled, silvery-green leaves open into large olive green leaves. The tea has a medium body, with a very delicate hint of smokiness in the light amber cup. Brew tea at 180º – steep for 2 minutes.

I love a good green tea…this tea has surprised me…it’s funny how I acquired a taste for this one so quickly. I think I read someone use the description “pleasantly bitter” for a tea, and, at the time, it kind of seemed like an oxymoron. But, that’s kind of how I’d describe this tea. I went from fairly neutral about it to wanting to have it more often. Good stuff.

“Pleasantly bitter” is the mark of a good green tea for me too!

Awesome! I thought I preferred Japanese grassy teas, but I want to find more “good bitter” green teas. :)
