Sipdown! (41 | 444)
Sorry for the lack of notes lately, I’ve been focusing on trying to sip down my The Tea Practitioner advent leftovers, and since I just wrote notes for all of them this month, I haven’t been doing new notes for those. Almost done with them though! \o/
So I recently received my Nordqvist order, and this was one of the free samples they included. It’s not something I would order for myself, not being a chocolate tea lover, but I’m happy to be able to try it. It’s pretty tasty for a chocolate-mint tea, I think the balance between the two flavors is quite good here. A lot of times mint tends to overpower everything else, but I can taste the chocolate here as well. There is an odd musty note at the end of the sip, not sure if that’s from the tea or the peppermint leaf, but otherwise it’s a very nice chocolate mint black tea. It reminds me a bit of an Andes mint.
